LFE Reaches Out to Help Teens

Americans everywhere are struggling with finances, but graduating high school seniors and college freshmen will face some unique financial challenges over the coming years. This engaging, skill-based workshop will help them learn how to evaluate bank and credit card offers, look for ways to free up more money for higher education, and avoid financial traps when making important decisions as they move out on their own.

These young adults will be very vulnerable to the “have we got a deal for you” offers where the decisions they make could negatively affect them for years to come. This course will teach them the other side of the sales pitch and make them aware of common misconceptions and myths that can lead to financial trouble.

As part of LFE’s commitment to Financial Literacy, our Certified Instructors throughout the U.S. will be teaching this workshop to help high school seniors and college freshmen prepare for a strong financial future.
